well im doing my usuall surfing , and i came across this beautiful conch. they call it a hawkwing conch. ive never seen one like it. well he says that its reef safe and a harmless algae/detrius grazer ...but i know better...last time i heard that i bought a unspecified conch at a lfs (which i dont go to now) and it ate all my snails!
so i decide that before i go on a mad spending spree ill ask you nice folk if you've ever had one or seen them before :needhelp: thanks in advance

looks like a fighting conch to me. they are definitely reef-safe, and a great additiong to your reef. dont put more then 1 per 30g
they burrow in the sand and clean it, they are really kool when you can see them out of the sand

Possibly a Queen Conch. I have 4 fighting conchs in my 120. They do a great job cleaning the sand. Look cool with just their eyes poking out of the sand.
