Can anyone help identify??

I puchased some zoos about three weeks ago, and when they arrived, I noticed this little guy. I have looked in a few books trying to identify whether it's a coral or anemone. It's about the size of a half dollar, and seems to be solid brown in color. I was thinking maybe a Frogspawn??? It does have what appears to be a mouth in the center.
I was hoping someone might know what it is.

deff. isnt a frogspawn , the closest thing that it looks like that i can think of is a frilly mushroom

definetly some kind of hariy or frilly shroom and not a frogspawn...
