Can anyone ID this weird fuzzy ball on my LR??

I recently bought a New piece of LV. over the last couple weeks I noticed what looks like a fuzzy ball shaped something getting bigger pretty quickly. I have no idea what it is nor do I know if it's something I should get out of the tank. If anyone knows what it is please let me know. Thanks

From your description I would say you have a Tunicate they are a good thing to have as they are a filter feeder not only that but they help to clean your water so the more the better.
I set up a zone pn my sump just for Tunicates and Sea squirts and other bethnic zone creatures to use as a natural water filter.

I have a pic of my own but I can't post it cause I'm on my iPhone, but I had a long polyp toadstool. I cut it off the rock and gave it away and about 2 months later a new one grew in its place and it looked exactly like your pic, so that's my guess, a baby toadstool.
