Can anyone ID this?

I have some weird white stuff on my candy corals. From a far, it looks like what patches, but when you look close, it seems to be thin squiglies bunched into a little ball. Is this harmful? I have had a few mushrooms shrink and die before, and I found the same thing on them. Can anyone Identify this? Thanks in advance.

It looks to me like what comes out of them when the tissue tears. Do you have anything that may have nipped them?? Mushrooms do it when they are stresses only the stringy white stuff comes out of their mouth (or rear, whichever you wanna call it)
Can you think of anything that might have ripped the tissue?? Handling it or rearranging rocks or...

OK, It did fall over the other day when i moved a few rocks. I think you're right. Thanks. I just wanted to be sure in case it was a parasite or something.
