Can anyone identify this disease?

I am not sure what is on this green pipefish k have.. Is it just part of the texture of the skin? I am referring to the white specks spattered along the body.

How's the pipe doing today? Honestly the spotting looks normal from the photo. These guys can adapt their coloration depending on aquarium conditions, and he might be doing just that. What does he eat?

Looks like normal coloration for a 'gator pipe to me. They can, and will change their coloration like SH...they can be brown, green, or any combo thereof, along with white body markings.

I haven't noticed any abnormalities yet. He eats frozen mysis and brine.

I agree with Greg, I think the fish looks to be in pretty good condition. If he's eating frozen mysis, so much the better.
