PC lighting, or better, and the occasional feeding of phyto.
If you look closly at the small flower like heads, you'll see they are actually small filters. Each petal is covered in tiny hairs.

thanks guys!
so i should go to the LFS and get stuff to feed them. will my regular lights on my aquapod be ok?
and they were open all day yesterday and most of the day today, but around 9 they started to close....is that normal?

yah shroomie2u, your aquapod stock lighting is plenty for some green star polyps :) They should start to grow and spread like crazy. I had about a rock that size full of em. They were starting to spread but then some algae over took them and now they are pretty much dead :( wonderful selction . goodluck with it :)

i am sure if you read either of my threads you would find lots of advice on their as i was a newbie just about a year ago and i learned everything i know now from this forum :) still not know it all though. learn something new everyday. LOVE THIS STUFF SALTWATER FISH

LOVE THIS STUFF SALTWATER FISH. I think as long as you are patient and try to read about some things and research things before you buy them. you will do wonderful :)

Ive never seen my GSPs eat anything. Like ever. It spreads the fastest in my tank. Will do well in medium-fast flow, and just let it live.
