Can I add a blackcap basslet?

First of all, I need to know if a blackcap basslet will fight with a sixline wrasse. I want to add a blackcap to my 75 gallon.Currently I have:
1 yellow tang
1 kole tang
1 sixline
2 false perc clowns
1 flame angel
90 lbs of LR
50 lbs of LS
coralife skimmer
HOB filter
HOB fuge

There is no reason a sixline and a blackcap basslet would fight more than any other type of fish, but some sixlines can be aggressive regardless of the type of fish you put in the tank.
Ideally the basslet would have been added before the sixline, but now all you can do is add it and hope for the best.
As far as stocking wise, I think you are just fine to add another small fish.

My sixline is pretty docile. I was more worried about the basslet bothering him, I've heard that basslets can be pretty aggressive.

It depends on the fish. My six-line can be a terror with other small fish. He chases my green clown goby and my orchid dottyback sometimes. It is like he gets in a "mood" sometimes and decides to take it out on everyone else in the tank. He even bothers my ocellaris clowns occasionally.

It didn't work for me at all. The six-line completely terrorized a newly added blackcap basslet. Both fish were about the same size. I went to great pains to get rid of the six line - not easy getting those things out when you have a lot of rock. The basslet survived another 10 days and then abruptly expired. I'm still not sure what happened but stress is my #1 guess.
I really enjoyed the six-line, but he had to go. I couldn't go through that any time I added a new fish. I thought my six-line was pretty docile too. He got along great with a false percula clown. He didn't pay any attention to the addition of a very small watchman goby.

blackcaps are very cool. from what i have read up on them and what you have, there should be no reason for it not to go in. i would love one but it wouldn't go good with my strawberry pseudochromi. but im getting ready to set up a 55g and it will definately be in there.

This is actually an old post. I've had the sixline and blackcap together now for months w/no problems.
