Can i add shrimp and damsels

i already have shrimp in my tank to cycle it, but could i add damsels as well bc i really wana look at something ( i know its inhumane but it is actualy nature) so could i plz add some damsels or is that like to much amonia excreting items to add

It is not actually nature for fish to live in an aquarium environment. I agree that it is inhumane. Furthermore, if you already added the shrimp, the ammonia that is already present would probably be enough to kill the fish.

I have a medium sized three stripe that survived about a week in a cycling tank in the ammonia stage. They can be hardy.

I did. For my last tank i put squid in to get a ammonia spike then removed the squid. I wated for the ammonia to go down then i added damsels. I have never lost a damsel from cycling.
