can i do a FW dip on my gsp

got a GSP the other day and it hasnt opened yet which i know is normal, but it is covered in flat worms, can i do a FW dip to rid the flatworms or would that stress my GSP

yes and yes.
IMO the flatworms are probably stressing it out too.
make sure you do the FW dip properly. (aka right temperature, right PH, no chlorine)

I know somebody who tried to kill a colony of GSP by leaving it in kalkwasser solution for an hour or so - to no avail. These corals are tough to say the least.
