wrasse. I have a 1+ yr old 125g and stocklist is a 4-5" YT, Pair of clarkii clownfish (the dominant fish) female 4" male 2.5", 4 chromis each about 1.5".
My pepermint shrimp and other inverts and corals.
My Tang (fat and healthy) doesnt eat regular food because hes not as quick as the other fish. however he simply lives off the algae and some nori I feed him, and thats fine with me he's always happy. Now my main ? is whether I should get a small wrasse, will he be able to get food or is it just asking for trouble. The one at the lfs is about 1" long.
any opinions please?

I would say yes. I have a sixline in a 55g with 2 false percs, a royal gramma and an anthias. He gets plenty to eat and spends most of his time zipping in and out of the live rock. The royal gramma on the other hand is a tryant.

6 line will do fine with ur setup. they r very fast swimmer, so getting food shoudnt be a problem.

the sixline should be added last because of how agressive they are.(in short)

i have had a sixline in a 55 as well and he was just as happy as can be. he'd float through tunnels up and around. fast and slow. anything. really colorful and exciting to watch. i never had an aggression problem with him but ninjas above me may have. id say he would be a good addition to your tank to add some color and flavor and i doubt he will have a problem getting food. I agree with Reefman. My sixline was my third fish added (of 6 total) and he is not agressive towards any other fish in the tank. He is *highly* agressive towards his own reflection in the glass however

just want you to know that if you don't mind your 6 line goin after your peppermint shrimp. i had a 6 line that would terrorize the shrimp in my tank. he killed all of them inside of a week. first one he ripped in half and took pieces of it. other than that the tank is ok to have a 6 line in it.
