What type of starfish? What other livestock is in the tank? What type of tank FOWLR or reef? What is your substrate? Need more info to answer your question!
Nemo...Brownie is right. Need more info. Depending on what else you have in your tank you may be able to go with a brittle or serpent (scavengers) but probably not a linckia.

Well, we'll start with the questions asked. Specific water parameters, tank inhabitants, and tank plans. IMO you do not have enough LR for a reef safe seastar, with the possible exception of Linckia multiflora. How big is the tank? Brittle/serpentstars would be fine.
