Can I have any coral with eels?

Hi I have a eel tank that has 1 chocolate starfish in it.Is there any corals that I can have to go in there with them?.will they eat it or just knock it over?.....Thank you

Chocolate chip starfish aren't reef safe.

I could be mistaken but the reason eels arent considered reef safe is that theyll eat fish and inverts. The choco star eats corals, so if you plan to do at least corals he must go.

i have a 30 gallon reef and he nibbled on some small shrooms but thats the only thing he has bothered and i have had him for bout a year. best of luck
