Can i have some lighting opinions?

okay well i have a 60 gallon tank 40L 16 W and like 20H i think, and i want it to be a spectacular reef tank. Theres nothing in it because i've been doing research cause i dont wanna screw anything up(7 months of research) well and i finally picked out a light. since there are basically no 40 inch lengthed lights, i picked a 36 inch Coralife Aqualight pro, 10k with actinics of a total of 380 watts. is this enough? anyone have experiecne with this light, enough wattage or something? HELP
:help:

that is a good amount of light, but i would suggest going with the halides. the more money you spend now, the less you spend later on replacing corals. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Halides are not necessary. But they are nicer and the newest thing. Your lighting will be fine. How much did you spend? There is a nice lighting system that does include halides made by current. Think it's the outer orbit. That's what I would get if I was starting a new one.
