i took a sample of my water to my lfs and they said i had high nitrate, so they sold me AZ-NO3- absolute zero nitrate.
is it good? it was kinda expensive like 25 bucks

I have it, been using the same bottle for about 4 months. It does work but if you use it continually, I think it takes about 2 weeks to start. If you just use it like twice a month then it will immidietly start working, my bottle was ike 30 bucks, expensive but works with a good skimmer.

You should probably find out the cause of your high nitrates and try to correct the problem....Also, water chages will help...what kind of water do you use?
I have a few seaclones, and I think they are good.

with a 30g that bottle will last you for a LONG time. i got the 30 buck bottle and ive been using it on my 75g for like almost 5 months maybe longer. But like meowzer said, would be a good idea to find out why you have the nitrates. maybe you just have a dead spot or something simple where you don't have to add the chemical. In my wet dry i have alot of build up that i cant get rid of so i am usingthe chemical till i switch over to my new sump.

ummm im not really sure but i think the high nitrates is from the food i give my fish. cause i made it and i used black mussels from the ocean near me. and like 10 diffrent things i bough from the super market. im going to stop feeding them that and start frozen formula 1.

Well if you cut out that food, and do a good water change, you should be able to get rid of the nitrates that way.

Sounds like that could deffinetly be the problem especially in a 30g tank if there is uneaten food, id return the chemical and get your money back, just do some WC

Agreed. Don't go throwing chemicals into your tank unless you have too. You can find out the cause (seems like you already have) of your high nitrates and fix that. What else is in your tank besides fish?
