Can i hurt my snail by trying to move him?

I bought some snails and couldn't get them to move in the sand, so i put them on the rocks, if i pull them off the rocks will it hurt them, because i want them on my glass. They are Hawian Turbo Snails. I tried it once, but they stuck so hard i stopped pulling because i thought i might hurt him

IMO you can hurt them by pulling on them to hard, give them time they'll make there way to the glass

I don't recommend moving them... but if you have to, gently slide and pull at the same time. Don't just pull.

Yeah, when I need to move one, I slide gently and use the edge of his shell to kind of break his suction seal as I'm sliding. Just don't pull straight up, you could rip one in half...:nervous:

i just pull mine up and they come off and suck back in the shell. I dont think it hurts them, bc i have never had 1 die from it but then again, i did catch mine from the ocean so they may be hardier than yours. I have so many of them, i really dont care if they die or not. good luck
