Can I just slice a GSP matt?

I have some green star polyps that the matt was hanging off of the rock it was on, I got it that way as a frag. I put it next to another rock and the matt is now attached to both rocks. Would it be OK if I were to just slice the matt between both rocks and have two separate corals?

I peeled some off the base of a rock the other night also and glued it to a rock and the're thriving too. They're pretty hardy it seems to me.

GSP is easy to frag. You dont even need to cut it. When I started out with GSP I placed the frag mat on a rock. It never really attached but grew all around it on that rock. A few weeks ago I ripped the origional frag out of the middle and it has since grew back in all the way.
Sorry to ramble on, but to make a long story short: Yes you can cut/rip/tear that GSP "bridge" out of there and it will be fine on the remaining two rocks.
