i have a 29 gal. tank just a reg. tank the idea i have is getting all my stuff to live and grow in it before putting it into my 135 gal. like a home away from home i am makeing my 135 into a reef anyone tried this ? shrooms zoo's anonesme (spelling )

sure it'll work, lots of people have separate tanks for growing out frags and such. It is also a good thing if you find yourself with a small, aggressive fish to have somewhere to throw him:yes: Just make sure you've got good lighting
