Can I mate mixed clowns?

I have had two percula clowns (nimo) for about 2 months...they've never gotten along very well...never fighting but acting very terriftorial with eachother. One day I couldn't find one of them until I looked on the carpet....he jumped out of the tank when I accidentally left the lid open...none the less, I went out and picked up a black and white percula and they've gotten along VERY VERY WELL ever since. So, I thought it would be nice to throw a maroon in the mix about three days later. Since then the two percula's have been picking on and pretty much killing off the maroon clown.
Question 1: Could this mean that the percula clowns could be a mating pair?
Question 2: How do fish have ---? ..... mate

Do not put more than 2 clowns in a tank (unless it's a big tank) or else two will pair up and kill the other. This is exactly what's happening in your tank, and it doesn't mean the 'percs' are a mated pair.
The female would deposit her eggs on a cleaned rock or tile and the male would swim by releasing sperm to fertilize the eggs.
