Can I partially frag a toadstool?

I have a huge toadstool leather that i'd like to frag for a few of my friends. I don't really want to cut the entire top off, so my question is: Can I just cut a few pizza shaped pieces out of it? After doing so, will it regenerate the missing pieces? Also, what do i use to cut it with, a razor blade?

Yeah you can cut almost any piece off, tops have better regeneration from what I've been told but who knows, razorblade, scissors, whatever you got. Just take out of the tank while you do it and let it slime for a bit outside of the tank before putting it back. Rubberband the frags to bits of rock.
