I would like to put a nano at my check out counter in my store.
1. can I tank rock sand water from my 90 reef and start it up in the nano.
2. does it really have to cycle
3. what size is good to start a 5 or ten
4. some of the tanks I ve seen have a built in filter in the hood, not the eclipse.
thanks

That's how I set up my 10. Mine still cycled, not as bad as if it were set up from scratch. When you move stuff, particularly the sand, you change things.

I would cycle the tank anyway regardless of transferring it from an established tank. Just in case. Why risk it take your time. Good luck. I would go with a 7 gallon minibow. That is what I got and I love it...
