Can I upgrade my bulbs & ballasts??

I have the Coralife Aqualight Pro Fixture with the 3x150Watt Double Ended HQI's. I am curious if this fixture can be upgraded to 250Watt HQI's if I upgrade the ballasts and bulbs??

I would think it could be done might need to replace the bulb holders as well

Yep.
The other thing you need to keep in mind is that commercial fixtures have cooling designed for a given wattage, as opposed to custom built fixtures where the cooling is usually overbuilt to some extent. So if you simply upgrade the lamps, holders, and ballasts, you'll need to give some concern to keeping the ******** of the fixture cool.

and if you are going to replace all that you might as well sell the fixture and start from scratch
