Can I use the Bak Pak only?

What's your recomendation on using only a Bak Pak skimmer on an 80 gal? Should I go with a wet/dry or a Fluval? My plans for the tank is a FOWLR. Thanks!!!

I added a Remora Pro to my 50 FO tank and contacted the Remora people who said a cannister could/should be used also since it filters out old food, debris, etc. which the skimmer does not. So, yes, you should have another filter as well.

The Bak Pak is only rated to 60 gallons and I think that is being optimistic. I wouldn't use it for anything over 40g.

CPR has come out with a new bak pak rated for up to 125g. For your 80g it should work.
