I do not think flouridated water is particularily bad for a fish tank however I wouldn't personally use it just because I do not care to have any extra chemicals that aren't needed in my tank. Of course if you used this your fish will probably have really nice teeth and zero cavities.......

Sodium Flouride is something a RO unit removes from the water. I'm not sure how it will react with something so close on the periodic table (NaCl-Sodium Chloride). Maybe Mudplayer will see this and throw in his two cents. He is more knowlegeable on the stability of chemicals and such. It has been too long since I took chemistry.
Sorry I couldn't help more.

I wouldn't worry about them reacting, when dissolved both the sodium chloride and sodium floride will form ions in the water since they are both ionic compounds. But unfortunately I do not know how fish or corals would tolerate it... But remember HEALTHY FISH TEETH, save on your fish dental bills.....
Ok, just looked it up, in case anyone wants to know, the average level of floride ion in drinking water is 1 ppm... Also I am not sure how well an RO filter will remove the Floride ion since a floide ion's mass is just barely more then that of water... However if it does get through the membrane a DI unit should get rid of it... The sodium ions will be removed by the membrane...
