someone told me hat i cant use live sand with a 29g tank. is this true, why if it is?

That's a silly thing to say to you - you can certainly use live sand in a 29 gallon tank, and most would highly recommend it.
Why did that person feel you couldn't ???
( I do not normally condone the use of violence to resolve aquarium issue disputes, but in this case I am overlooking it - and am only suggesting some minimum physical force be applied )

I do not see why you could'nt use ls in a 29 gal. I have never heard that one.

It would benifit you greatly to have live sand in your tank along with live rock.

i agree with all, especially broomer on this one, who in the DAMSEL(LOL), said that, and why, ls is is a very good thing to have in an aquarium, and i was told not to use it by one pet store, he no longer sees me, since i now think he has a couple of xtra holes in his head, i would not believe any one who told me it is not good(in fact, i would change my opinion of their knowledge, in the matter), normally you would hear this form lfs's who cannot get it, or customers of shops who can't, but you will never(99.999999999999999999999999999999976453% probability) hear anyone say that who has used it and knows what it is and does
