Hi guys,
I am looking to drill an overflow in my glass tank. I would like to build in a skimmer box of acrylic and glue it into the tank. what glue should i use ?

Silicone, but make sure it cures...
Before you even hit that point though, is the glass tempered all ready on the bottom of the tank? If so, you may not be able to drill it.

thanks for the quick reply !
i was under the impression that silicone doesnt adhere to acrylic....
the tank is not tempered !!!!!!

Silicone should adhere fine to acrylic since you are not using it for a pressure application. All the water pressure for an overflow would press into the overflow instead of outward so it should hold just fine.
