Can shrimp carry a problem from one tank to another?

I have a tank that I have lost several fish in, they quit eating and waste away, no other signs of what the problem is. I have two shrimp (coral banded and a blood red fire shrimp) in the tank that I would like to move into my 120. Can I safely do it or am I risking bringing the problem with them?

Lost the fish from what? If it is ich that is killing the fish I don't believe that inverts can "carry" it, if something else is wrong or you don't know for sure I would say NO. Hopefully someone will be able to give a better than 80% answer.

It's not ick, and there's no visible sign of any thing wrong. They just quit eating and fade away. I've lost a blue tang that I had for about 6 months, then a Luna wrasse that I had close to a year. Last week I lost my Jawfish that I'd had for about 5 months. Right now I have a Royal Gramma that's not eating. There are 3 percula clowns in the tank that have been there a year and they are fine. I wish that I knew what to do to stop this, I've medicated, made lots of water changes and recently I added a very large wet dry filter with a skimmer. It's so frusterating!

What are your tank readings? What did you medicate the tank with? And if you do not know what the problem is...why would you medicate???
As far as transfering the shrimp...my feelings are simple...if you dont know what it is in the other tank..how do you know it isnt associated with the shrimp? I would quarantine the entire tank and identify the problem...try taking a sample to a LFS and see what they have to say.
