I'm not exactly new to this hobby but my tanks are all fowlr. However, we are now considering putting up another tank (reef). Can someone explain the difference in VHO lights and MH?

mh penetrate the water better and are good for deep reefs and with these lights u are able to keep any coral or clam u would like... vho is 2 steps down in the output they have although they are "Very High Output" the HO put out more light per watt so depending on the tank size you r getting and what corals u are planning on keeping i would get either MH or HO lights ...
