Can someone ID these please. A Snail and a crab

I went down to the beach today seeing what I could find and I came across these snails there were probably over a million of them serioulsy. Are these safe snails? They look harmless.
The crab I got off the rocks hes a little hairy and drak greyish/blackish in color

you're asking us to identify hard to identify items giving us fuzzy pics...
if you've got millions of the snails, i'd bet they are cousins or a variation of periwinkles. the crab is probably just some xanthid, without seeing the claws its tough to say if it's reef safe
