can someone ID this wrasse

its a myustery as to what it is, I have looked at hundreds of photo's but cant seem to find it. I'm a coral geek maybe one of you fish geeks want to nail the common and scientific names for me?

Certainly one of the genus Cirrhilabrus sp.: The Fairy or Velvet Wrasses
Is the picture a juvenile? That may be throwing off an identification because of the coloration.

he's about 4 inches long, not knowing the species I don't know if it is still a juvi or not. It was simply labled "wrasse"
thanks, by the way, its a step in the right direction.

any one else have any ideas? Why cant I find a picture of this guy even if its a juvi you'd think some one some where has ID'ed a juvi wrasse before.

It has the shape of a fairy wrasse but it's coloration seems to look more like some sort of flasher wrasse. Got me stumped.

I cant tell spanko but thanks for your help we may have to wait for him/her to mature before we know for sure thanks.
