Can someone ID?

I need help with the ID of this coral. Also if you know what it is, what do the white tips that it has mean? I don't know if this is something of concern or if it is normal.

looks like a bleached kneya tree to me

with the thickness of the stalk I would say its some type of sinularia, not capnella.

probably just aggrivated by a fish or somethinig. just keep an eye on it, it may decide to Shed.

Ok thanks what does it mean when it sheds? I'm new at this and I have only had this for a week.

Periodically leathers will shed a waxy layer as a way of "cleansing" themselves. If they're in high enough of flow the layer will just float away. Pretty common, nothing to worry about.
