can someone tell me whet coral this is bought it cause my son loved it he calls it his cookies. We have cookies here that look the same lol

I hope you didn't pay too much for your "cookies" because that Tubastrea sp. is..... well, starved and not doing well.

just bought it a few hours ago just put it the tank could that be a reason?
and no didnt pay too much as I live in Thailand these things are not too expensive here.

There is no skin on that skeleton. Receding tissue is the first step towards the demise of these guys. Some varieties have less skin than others.... and yours is that variety, but the skeleton should really be showing like that. It's not something you did...
It needs to be target fed meaty foods as it is nonphotosynthetic. You can bring it back around if you feed it well.

You're son picked the most time consuming coral lol. I bought one also, and I takes me about 3 hours to feed it. You need to feed each individual head, every day (if you want it to grow) or one time a week if you just want it to stay alive.

The outside of it should'nt be white, and when you feed it you need to wait for it to open up. Right now yours is shut pretty tightly.
