I just got one for my Nephew, He is a very smart 6yr old. I already picked up the SUPER MARIO DS. Any other similar types or recommendations? Kind Regards

The advanced wars games are like a chess match. Their pretty fun, and can get pretty challenging now and then. Also, i LOVE guitar hero DS, some say its lame, But i like it alot.

OO yes advance wars days of ruin is really good. Makes you think. Final Fantasy Revanent Wings is good, the fighting is real time so it stretches the mind.

nintendogs, it sounds dumb, but it is really fun and addicting. perfect if you cant have a furry pet or if you do want to maintain one. perfect for a smart 6 year old.

Has he played Professor Layton and the Curious Village, its very challenging!! Hundreds of different style puzzles to solve mysteries and you can download weekly puzzles so thats awesome! ALso Sims 2 Castaway is very addicting, trying to survive on an island and finding a way off beat it in 7 days though.....and then the Garfield games are regular fun games, but I highly recommend the Professor Layton game!

LEGO star wars... my 6 YO Loves that game!! It is actually a good game and you do have to do some actual thinking to play it.

"The World Ends With You" is a surprisingly good game. Dont know how to describe it, check the back of the box or look online for reviews about it. I recommend Gamespot.com
