can these 2 co-exist?

Hey all,
I just lost a fish due to a talented jump through my egg crate cover...
I was looking to replace my jumper (six-line wrasse) with a lawnmower blenny. However I currently have a purple firefish hovering in my tank, and I've heard blennies and gobies don't ummm... get along.
So is it likely that these two would fight?
thanks for the info!

not really since firefish and blennies dont share the same level, if u got a watchman goby then i would be concerned of fighting

Lawnmower Blennies tend to be fine. Some posters here, however, have had aggressive ones however.
They get quite a bit bigger than a 6 Line and they need algae to eat. Make sure you've considered both.

i have a goby and blenny (black sailfin) in my 75, and even though its a different blenny, my dad and i researched the lmb and apparently they are like the sailfin in the layer of the tank they stay in. and so far they dont even realize they other is there... lol

I was wondering...............thank you for explaining. Some fish in this hobby cannot be generalized. They have personalities of their own. If you want both, set it up ahead of time with your lfs. If it doesn't work out then make sure you can return one of them.

I just got a LMB and it is fine with my Firefish. I didn't remember that they could be agressive towards gobys.
