can these 2 get along

Can I add a Miniatus Grouper in the tank(250g at the moment) with my brown banded cat shark. My shark is about 1ft and so is the grouper.

so your grouper and shark are both 1 foot and what size.
um ya i think theyll be okay.
who has been in the tank longer the shark or grouper.
also do you have some live and enough that the grouper can hide and the 2 wont fight each other over it

The shark has been in the tank longer, I have not picked up the grouper yet. The shark has his on tunnel that he hangs out it, he does not hang out in the rocks but does swim through them though.

my miniatus spends most of its time in and on the rockwork and many people describe them a lurkers for the way they hangout on the rockwork. you may have some problem with them together if your shark likes the rockwork.

Miniatus groupers can be aggressive and territorial, so be sure to provide him with a hiding place of his own
