Can this be repaired?

I'm thinking of purchasing this ALLGLASS Model 4 sump, but noticed that the back pane is busted. I'm sure I could just have a glass company cut a new sheet and cut the holes, but then the cost might be almost the cost of purchasing the unit for $75 more :)
Here's a pic.... what do you think?

Unless I am wrong, that is an acrylic sump, and from the looks of it, it would be kind of easy to repair, but I do not think I would part with a hundred dollar bill for it and then have to repair it. They would have to come off a bunch more money for me to buy it........I probably would not go more than say $20 -25 or so on it.

Piece of cake. I choose option 3, fix yourself and save $.
If its acrylic
Cut the damaged area out with a dremel tool. Trim it flush with a 2 flute straight bit in a router or just file the area flat by hand. Since its a sump and not normally visible and its purpose is to hold water I would re-glue it with #16 wait 24 hrs and leak check it.
If its glass
Even easier, just cut along the silicone and replace with a new panel.
