can this harm my fish?
i just got my first few fish 3 days ago i was observing them for those few days and notice that my aquascape wasnt realy the proper setting so i just decided to redo it as i was doing it my lr started kicking up the sand and letting out a lot of brown stuff my rocks and ccsand looked kinda rusty lookking so as i was moving the rocks out i was cleaning the sand i took out about 15% of water cleaned the sand and did another setup can this harm my fish i have a clown trigger kole tang and 2 chromis also do you know what that rusty look was thank for reply

how can i post pics i shrunk it to the size that is asked and i got my pics up when i double click the pic it doesnt do anything please help it is a very important tool on the board thanks

If anything, it'll stress the fish from all the movement. I dont know the effects of fish swimming through the stirred up water. I would guess it wouldnt be the best though.

People go through these small changes and usually it does not affect the fish all that much, however.
I would check the water paramiters to make sure that you did not kickup anything to severe. As long as the tank was established and stable then it should recover rather quickly. Double check any mechanical filtration to make sure that it does not get clogged with any sediment that was stirred up.
The rusty look could have been from diatoms or just some other type of algea that you stirred up, do you from time to time use a turkey baster to clean the ditrus and sediment off of the rocks. Could also have been a build up of fish waist that is not being taken care of by the cleanup crew, do you have a suffitient clean up crew for your tank?
Enough water movment to keep things in suspention?
