Can water go bad from sitting?

About 6-8 months ago I made a batch of water. it is RODI water. I mix it up in a dedicated 20 gallon trashcan. My tank is a 45 gal with another 10 gals in a 20 gal sump. Now usually I would change about 15 gals a month but during the winter month I change about 5 gals a week because its too cold to mix the water outside. Anyway I have 15 gals of water sitting with a powerhead in it since about Sep or OCt. I checked the salinity and its a bit high so I just added 5 gals of fresh water. Now Im wondering if the water can go bad for sitting through the winter? Do you think it is still usable? Like I said, it did have a powerhead moving it all this time.

if its mixed with salt already, tds meter wouldnt help. i would throw the water away after 6-8 months, since water can lose ability to carry oxygen after a while.

The waters fine. If it went bad after sitting for a while, then my tank would be bad.
If you had no powerhead in it, then you'd need to reoxygenate it, but since you did, it's fine.
