Baseball that is... With A-rod coming out now that he used steroids between 2001-2003, is baseball's last shot at legitimacy done?
The way A-rod describes how 'everyone was doing,' and 'so prevalent' who can honestly take baseball seriously anymore?

ya, it really does suck how this has polluted baseball. In a very minimal way, I feel for A-Rod. This was supposed to be an anonymous testing.
To put in perspective, its like your place of employment saying that they are going to just test all employees to see how many people use illicit drugs. This will be completely anonymous and no punishments will be made. Well then you test positive and 6 years down the road you are out of a job.
* I didn't make that up, stole it from Mike and Mike, but I thought it was a great analogy.

Not sure, I mean A-rod is still going to get every bit of his money, and the Yankees have been supportive of Giambi and Pettite in the past, I see no reason they wouldn't for A-rod. Esp. since he did the 'right thing' and came forward, rather then be caught.

People still play baseball?

I know, but unfortunately after March Madness, there will be nothing on ESPN but baseball. THough who knows, with more of this, the whole could/should fold under....
