Can you have too many?

I traded for some nassarius snails and instead of sending me 100 the guy sent me well over 200 snails!! I've put a big chunk of them in my sisters tank, my fiances tank, and some in my nano tank. But I wont be able to get rid of the extra 100 or so until tomorrow. Can I put the live ones in my tank just so they don't die over night or will that crash my tank? They've been in a large tupperware with algae and an air stone. A friend of mine is picking them up tomorrow and I don't want him to pick up a bunch of dead snails.

theres no chance of them crashing the tank unless they die, what size is the tank? 200 is alot of nass. snails, i would think that you may lose a few of them eventually due to loss of food, but all you have to do is grab them at night when you want to trade them. Just sell them online here

Yes you can have too many. They will die off if they run out of food. Usually a good skimmer will remove any snail die off since it will be gradual not all at once.
