I have a 135 oceanic and am trying to decide between one fixture with 3 150W MH's and 4 96W PC's or another with 3 250W MH's and 4 96W PC's. I know if I got the 250W MH fixture I could keep anything, but my question is if I got the 250W fixture could I also keep the lower light corals???

it's pretty hard to have too much lighting on a tank. just look at how bright the sun is.
you can easily keep low light corals under metal halides you just need to place them in the shaded areas of your tank.

OK,I will go with the 3 250W MH's, but I'm confused about barely enough... Will I be able to keep clams with 3 250W MH's and 4 96W PC's on a 135?

Yup. You'll be able to keep anything you want including clams.

Ok, I went with the Aqualight HQI/MH fixture from Coralife...3 250W MH and 4 96W PC's. I should have it within the week...
