How do I find out how many gal. are in this tank
36in long x 24in wide x 36in tall

I just may get this tank.....

It sounds like it would be beautiful but a beast to clean because of the height.
Using the following input parameters
Tank Length = 36 inches
Tank Width = 24 inches
Tank Height = 36 inches
Tank volume is calculated as
Tank Volume = 134.6 Gallons

(L x W x H) / 231 so
36 x 24 x 36 = 31104
31104 / 231 =about 135 gallons.

It will actually be less than that, though. I assume you measured outide specs, not inside specs. The glass will displace some of the water volume in the above figures. You're also not going to fill it to the brim...
...is that being a little too anal?

But the tank is to deep. It would be a hell of a time to clean. Going with a smaller tank. Thanks everyone.....
