Can you get a picture? Predatory worms aren't generally a good thing IMO, but hard to say without knowing what we are talking about.

I've been searching for an ID to something in one of MY tanks, and I think you and I might have the same critter. I first dismissed it as a variation of bristle worm, but after seeing this thing (which I've come to think is cute!) LOOKING AROUND my tank with its little head and eyeballs, I started to wonder. Mine is a good 8 inches, but is thinner and more uniform in diameter than a bristle worm. Is what you have like my pics? Any info anyone has would be good. To be clear: this thing has a defined head and little black eyes, it doesn't mind the lights, and it likes to check me out!
Thanks everyone!

I haven't noticed any antennae, but tonight is the first time I was really able to see his head close up with the lights on. When I took the pic I used a flash and scared him away. He definitely has more pronounced spines than an ordinary bristle worm, and he appears to crawl more than wriggle... That head is kinda freaking me out. Reminds me of a bad nudi I saw on a WWM thread...
