I am able to get a nice berlin skimmer from a friend for a pretty good deal. I have a 32G reef with a good amount of corals and a few fish, 5-6 hermits, and 2 shrimp and I can never get my nitrates below 10-15 doing 5 gallon water changes weekly. the skimmer is rated for up to 250 gallons. Would this be a bad idea? or would I be able to add another small fish or two with it going? The skimmer I have now isnt the greatest but it works so-so. Thanks to all!
