hello i was just wondering if you could put 2 eels together i have a 55g that will be exchanged for a 100g as soon as i save the rest of the money but the tank has a cascade canister filter, two 301 powerheads and a cyclone protein skimmer the tank contains a 14" g.tile eel and a lunar wrasse 5" with 20 pound of live rock and 3" of sand and i was wanting to put another eel in the tank but im not sure if it would be a good idea because i get a lot of mixed answers at my Lfs. and the other kind of eel i was wanting to get was a yellowhead moray that is about 2 to 3 in longer and a larger diameter

A fimby will eat the lunar wrasse and the eel. If you get the fimby wait until the 100 is up and running with much more rock(at least 100lbs imo). The eel will be more likely to jump if there is not enough rock work for it to feel secure. Piscivorous eels are always a risk to tankmates and are better suited for species tanks. i keep a fimby in a 90 and a j. dragon in a 150 with damsels simply because fish tankmates will be eaten. Piscivorous eels of similar size can be kept together but the risk of fighting/predation is always there. If you want to keep multiple eels and fish, pebble toothed morays are the safer bet.
