Can you store extra saltwater in a container without it going bad? :notsure:

It won't go bad, but you will need to do two things.
First of all, you will have to keep it circulating. You can do this with an airstone...or even better, a powerhead.
Secondly, you will need to take measures to keep it from evaporating by sealing the container as best you can. The longer it sits, the more the salinity is going to rise. If you have to, draw a line on the container where the water level is, and add topoff water to compensate for evaporation.
I personally would not store saltwater more than a few day for the above reasons. I can't see a reason to want to store it longer than that anyways. You can't use saltwater as topoff, only water changes.
ps- you also want to make sure that is close to the temperature of your tank before adding the water. The larger the quantity of stored water you are adding to the tank, the closer the temperatures must match :joy:
