Can zoos change?

I bought a piece of LR with orange zoos when my LFS moved. They would open everyday and look totally awesome under the actinics. One day they just stopped opening. I thought they were dead. They were thinned out and gray.I kind of gave up because the were like this for two months. The other day I looked at them and they were open again. The weird thing is, they are now green and smaller than they were previously. Is this possible??

yea they will change under different type of lights..i had some UGLY yellow ones that unded up turning into some sweet copper ones under my MH

it could be some of the polyps that didn't open before opened now...are all of them green??

Yeah, they are all green. I was hoping some would stay orange , but that is not the case. I have dual PC and T5 on my 125. Now I have a new question. Does anyone think this will happen again? I'm afraid to buy some more zoos and have them change. I don't want a tank full of green zoos.

so is that how i get diff color morphs or is that something completly diffrent

I don't have a clue!!! Can any one explain why this happens. Is it just the lighting or are there other factors involved that would cause a zoo to change?
