Candy Cane coral HELP!!!!

Received a candycane coral from a fellow reefer. It was shipped priority mail which is fine, however it wasn't shipped in a thermos.
Anyway received the coral and it seems only one of the heads is alive.
There is one head that does have neon green color in the middle but on the sides the red is just about gone.
Will this one survive as long as there is neon in the middle or should I kiss it goodbye?
Is there anything I could do to help it out?

You'd be suprised sometimes at how bad they can look. Its been through a tramatic shipping experience. Just make sure that it gets into the tank in a good flow area, be prepared to feed it after lights out if the tenitcals come out tonight.
If you can even save one head then it can grow to many times that, you'll just have to trim the otherones by breaking them off.
Good luck and keep us posted. Got a pic?

I took a tiny head, damaged and broken, from a larger piece from the lfs about a year ago for $5, This piece sounds pretty much like what you describe. I figured, if it didn't make, well, I was only out $5.
Here ts is now [bottom one].
