Here it was when I got it...(eating)

Here it is a couple months later...

And here it is today, looking old and shriveled... Whatcha think? To much flow??
I'm thinking to much flow.

I tried to barricade him in a little nook in the rocks to protect him from the flow, but it doesn't look like it's helping.

Probably want to get that monti cap away though.

Tizz, you seen mine, top of the tank getting blasted by flow and light and it seems to be doing fine. Almost looks like it's something chemical perhaps. Coral warfare maybe?
I know you feed them good so it can't be that.

yeah maybe the cap. Mine is blasted with high flow (alot more than ideal for candycane) as well but have no problem adapting to it.

Problem is, I just put the cap near it and it's been looking shriveled for a while.

I had one in high flow and all it did was split new heads quicker. It did look kinda funny with the flesh "flowing in the breeze" so to speak, so I moved it. You might want to look for another possible cause there.... though I can't really think of anything.

Tizzo, I know you feed a lot, what are you using?? Mine seems to love "Cyclops" just afer lights out. Med flow for mine.
Like others have said you think if could have lost a coral warfare battle???

Not sure Tizz... Mine is under pretty low flow based on its location and since I started following your "Feed your LPS" directions, they look amazing.
Maybe lower the flow to it and see how it does.

Thanks Gator... LOL, I was starting to get the impression that "NOBODY'S LISTENING!"

I do feed frozen cyclop eeze, that's what he's eating in the first pic.
I JUST put the monti cap there the DAY BEFORE and the candy cane has been looking like this for a few weeks.
I do not think it's water quality, otherwise, it would be affecting some of my other corals.(see below)

I'm trying to find a lower flow area, but it's not easy, lol...

Hey Tizzo! Maybe you should try feeding cyclop-eeze, I hear coral loves that stuff.

Btw, nice tank!
