Candy Cane Slime?

Ok so I was looking at my candy today and I noticed this slime looking stuff...with bubbles.

I have tried to see if I can come across anything that would tell me what is going on, but I have turned up empty handed. I am hoping you guys can help me out. Thanx!!

Actually I just moved it up higher in the tank yesterday because it was already starting to slime. I just checked it and it seems the slime has calmed down quite a bit to just about nothing. Of course today was the scheduled 10% water change also...perhaps he's happy again? If there are any changes I will be sure to get all the info out. Thank you for your response =)

They do that sometimes, usually when disturbed. In your case bubbles must have got caught in the slime. Nothing to worry about.
