candy cane sweeper tentacles

ive never actually seen sweeper tentacles.. but my candy cane looks like it has a bout a 1.5 - 2 inch thin piece of spider web swaying in the water. is that just somethings waste? or is that a sweeper tentacle.

if its coming out of the mouth, then its poop. if its coming from around the head, then its feeding or stinging tentacle.

it was coming out from around the head but it didnt have the little ball tips it just looked like spiderwebs.. at this point im going to assume it was still tentacles considering i woke up and found a piece of shrimp in it.
